The Chicago Department of Business Affairs and Consumer Protection, in partnership with A4CB, have launched the Neighborhood Market Grant Program to support small retail food business owners and farmers market operators, by providing funding to strengthen local food systems and expand access to fresh, healthy food across the city.
The Small Business Growth Initiative, operated by the Lake County Community Foundation and Allies for Community Business, is helping small businesses succeed in the Waukegan area.
